02 Oct Flora and Ronan, Connemara
It’s so nice to be a guest at a wedding! This was extra special as it was my cousin, Flora’s, and happened over at the beautiful Rosleague Manor in Connemara, on the west coast of Ireland. Flora has known Ronan since, well, either high school or nursery (there is a little debate over whether either of them actually remember each other at nursery). So the wedding has been a while coming … 7 years her sister had been planning it!
I had worked on the wedding invitations (follow the link for the blog post on those) along with designing the name stamp and question cards left on the tables for guests to fill in, so was really excited to see how they all came out. In fact I was blown away by how creative Flora had been – she’d found gorgeous papers for the covers of the orders of services and favour boxes, which just looked fantastic with the typography I’d done for her.
The photography was covered by lovely Dublin-based photographers, Ebony & Pearl, but … well, I had my camera with me and so I couldn’t resist a few shots myself.
Congrats guys! Hope your married life is as beautiful and gorgeous and fun as the wedding day. 🙂
I had a few days around the wedding to stay with the family and some time exploring Dublin, which I’d never been to before. Here is one of the 12 Bens (I don’t know which one!) near their home in Recess, followed by some shots around Dublin… (thanks to Colm from Jury’s Inn for feeding me up! It’s good food there btw.)
