Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy
Last year, I was asked to create some pictures for music charity, Nordoff Robbins, who use music therapy and other music services to help transform the lives of vulnerable children and adults.
I followed music therapist, Becca Sayers, on some of her visits to children in the oncology ward of Manchester Children’s Hospital. It was fascinating to see her at work, and see the children engaging with all the different instruments. Rather less like a music lesson, and more like a chance for the children to simply play and have fun with different sounds and movements, even from a short session, I could how valuable this kind of therapy can be.

March 20, 2012Dear Hannah,
Such lovely photos. You really captured the essence of Nordoff Robbins music therapy and the wonderful effect it can have on those we support – helping to transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable children and adults through music. Thank you Hannah.
Best wishes
